Memories

As a kid I remember the winter noons… my grandmother, her sister, my mum and me would enjoy basking in the sun while knitting, chatting, peeling vegetables, combing and munching peanuts. I miss the relaxed sun on my back as i tried varied hairstyle on my grandmother. My mum would make magic potions with rose water and glycerin and lemon juice store it away in small bottles for each one of us.
Somedays we would laugh our hearts out at some silly jokes and someday we would just sing.
I wish I can have such glorious days back again.

My mum is old but whenever we meet she loves to recollect those days. Below is a recipe of her concoction that I still make and use.
