Cho-cho-ri! Tongue twister for non-bengali speaking folks. It's mostly a seasonal vegetable mix fry made with 5 spice mix. A staple at home the seasonal twist is no more, we get almost all vegetables round the year, the taste not quite like grand ma's or mum's would dish out but a staple and some greens going into the daily meals.

Peanut Podi
When Ranjana came to work and stay with me I already though I'll ask her to make the peanut podi I had in Pune. So got all the ingredients ready and voila she took just 15 mins to make this 'goes with everything' podi.
The 3 days she spend here was fun, lot of reading together, working and chatting, a dozen chai and a samosa later she was ready to say good bye.
Hope you will try the podi and relish it like I did.
